This independent Halifax site is a useful portal for Canadian business, profession, medical and other kinds of ethics resources and publications.

DePaul University, Institute for Business and Professional Ethics

This Chicago site is extensive, with a calendar of events, an on-line journal, ethics news, a dilemma of the month, etc.

DSW - Deutscher Server Wirtshaftsethik (German Server for Business Ethics)

This site is maintained by the Institute for Business and Social Ethics of the University of Marburg.  It provides information on the German Business Ethics Network, part of the European Business Ethics Network (EBEN).  The mainly German site provides articles and information on research, bibliography, meetings and other matters.

Online Ethics Center for Engineering & Science at Case Western Reserve University

This Cleveland site is a wide-ranging resource on professional ethics for engineers and scientists, with cases for discussion, cases of moral leaders, problem scenarios, codes, essays, colloquia and more (in English and Spanish).
 

NON-GOVERNMENTAL ORGANIZATIONS

Ethics Practitioners' Association of Canada (EPAC)

This is the site of the professional association of Canadian providers of ethics services, with their Ethical Standards, Guidelines for Applying the Standards, key articles from their Newsletter, links to membersí Web sites, and other information (in English and French).

EthicsCentre CA (Canadian Centre for Ethics and Corporate Policy)

This is the site of the Toronto-based resource centre and catalyst for encouraging greater attention to the ethical dimension in business decisions.  The Centre has an active speakers program and a newsletter.  The site has links to corporate ethics sites in Canada and elsewhere.

TI - Transparency International

This Berlin organization is a leader in the international fight against corruption. Check out the much publicized TI Corruption Perception Index, and the on-line Source Book of national integrity systems (in English, German, French and other languages).  See also TI-Canada.
 

GOVERNMENT

Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat - Values and Ethics

This is the site of the central agency responsible for service-wide initiatives in the Canadian public service. Values and ethics is under the Office of the Chief Human Resources Officer. The site is in English and French.

Office of the Conflict of Interest and Ethics Commissioner of Canada

This is the site of the ethics officer to the House of Commons and government appointees. The site is in English and French.

Office of the Public Sector Integrity Commissioner of Canada

This office deals with disclosure of wrongdoing, protection  from reprisal of those who have disclosed wrongdoing, and enhancing integrity in the public sector. The site is in English and French.

Canada School of Public Service

The site of the federal government's learning provider includes links to various courses and publications on values and ethics (in English and French).

OECD - Fighting Corruption in the Public Sector

The 34-member Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development actively promotes integrity and anti-corruption measures. The site includes a link to SIGMA, the program of Support for Improvement in Governance and Management (jointly with the EU). The site is in English and French.

UK Committee on Standards in Public Life

This organization guides ethics practices in the UK Parliament, political parties and public spending bodies.  See their publications and the Seven Principles of Public Life.

US Office of Government Ethics

This office heads the executive branch ethics program. See their resource library and list of publications, including videos, pamphlets and posters.
